another great podcast. Most of the books reviewed this week weren't very exciting but your discussion of them made me go back and read them. I agree with the conversation at the end about female writers and artists in a way. There is a noticeable difference in style and execution. Thats not always a bad thing but some people do prefer one or the other. I find female writers are good with the right material. They can write amazing comic books but they seem better dealing with a female cast and most comics are male centered and the majority of comic readers are male so there can sometimes be a disconnect. Female artists I don't mind, they seem to pay more attention to emotional relation and smaller details and the males are more dynamic with their action and details whic suits more male driven plots. There is need for more females in the industry though.
